Hurricane Special Relief Fund
We still need Sponsors to help the Sanctuary recover from Hurricane damage sustained in 2005. The Sanctuary had direct strikes from both Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma and your donation here will go a long towards helping us finish rebuilding. Many projects are completed, but many remain and require funding to finish. Habitat restoration was completed immediately, a new roof was necessary and debris removal and salvage efforts have been ongoing. Highest area of need now is restoration of the grounds perimeter fencing and funding for the shortfalls on debris clean-up & removal and webcam & server replacements lost to these storms.
