Hi !
I was just wondering what you guys made of interbreeds such as Ligers and Tigons ?
They certainly produce interesting looking cats but how right is it ?

I for one am totally against it and it stinks! We have another post around here somewhere on this, but it may take awhile to find it...I agree though, they do make for some very interesting looking animals, but I just don't believe in that or cloneing. I feel if the man upstairs would have wanted them, he would've created them. I just believe that you don't fool around with nature! Tigers are meant to be tigers and Lions are meant to be lions. Monkeys meant to be monkeys and so on. These animals are created and put on for show & to bring in the big bucks because they know people will pay to come and see them. If people would quit doing that, maybe, just maybe it would stop! That is my opinion and I'm sure you'll find others on the site that feel the same way. Smile

Thanks for the link and sorry if I repeated a subject Rolling Eyes

I don't agree with it either and the fact that Ligers are usually infertile is a clue that this isn't right !

So many species are on the brink of extinction, people who are responsable for the hybrids should really concentrate their effort and money into saving them.
