Looking closer and longer at the pics ok now tears I sure miss seeing gypsy and clarence and Ihop oh I miss all of them princess looks a little thin but they all look good very shiny coats they are are so beautiful since Dave is moving to gainesville that will be a trip for me I am so looking forward to it cathy did you get a pic of our midnight? would love to see her sampson is so beautiful ok I will go I could go on and on and on

Thank you, Cathy. After I have seen these pictures, I realized that I miss the animals much more than I thought. You can say, I waxed sentimental.

But the main reason, why I post here now, is another: I have thought about how we can save our forum. It is a lie, when we say, our forum is not dead. The number of aktive members is under ten. Myself am not really one of the active ones, this is right. The school steals much of my time. I do three tests next week (English, German, Geography). At least my skilled work about white tigers is finished.
However I think the main problem, why our forum is so inactive is that we have nothing to talk or discuss about. We cannot keep a forum active, when we just make birthday wishes and when we talk about the fact, that Dave needs our help. That's sounds hard, but this is the fact of the matter.
But what should we talk about? Well, I guess everyone of us has anything, what he just wants to talk about. Let your imagination run free.

The next point is, that many of us don't want to criticize or to disagree with someone else. They say nothing instead. But let me say you, you have no reason to be quiet. Your oppenent will not be angry with you! If an opinion of somebody disgusts you, then say your own opinion. If a picture, which someone made, not sit well with you, then tell him your criticsm and tell him, what he can make better. If you think, that I am not right with this post, then say that! There is nothing to worry about.

When the forum lives again, then the new members, who come sometimes to our site, have a reason more to stay here. Until the cams will work again, can it take a long time. So our biggest attraction is still absent. I have suggest some things, what we could change at our site to allure some new members some time ago. I have to find the threat then, which I post in Rant & Rave.

So, I think this is enough until now. My english is still (yes, I know, I should learn more ) not perfekt. Let me know, when you think you should post something to this.

Angrod - HELLO You are so right - we all need to decide how to go forward. We each need to try to step up, take time, and begin again.
For starters I would like to take time to put together a tribute to Shredder with a special topic for him in memorial along with any photos we have in our wonderful animal portfolios. More on this entire post soon. It is so good to hear from you & thank you for caring enough to say something.

Nikki - remember I was armed only with 2 disposable cameras - no re-do, no filters, no previews. Dave was busy doing whatever he does dragging things from here to there and there I am on the top rung of the ladder where it says "Do NOT stand here" trying to see what I could see to decide on where to get the best shots for you guys. Then I got some sense and realized the animals where all on the ground. They always charge up to say hello and then settle down which is the only time you can get the photos without the fence lines....

Yes and No on baby Midnight I had photos of Midnight but they developed as "blurs". She was so hysterical it would make you laugh right out loud. She was so excited she was completely upside down on her "lounging platform" showing me her finesse at being a 90lb ballerina with the whitest teeth you ever did see. She is so precious. When I went around to Sampson to ask her what he thought of his lady ~ well take a look at his face. He was busy tearing up his floor and showing me how big the pieces were he is so proud of himself...

Ahhh so many memories and so many more to come. You guys take care and I will be back here real soon. Best to all ~ please try to POST

none of this has been easy for me ! the work that's involved is off the charts and the fact that i have no money at all make this that much more difficult ! I need everyone help to make this work and one way to help tigerhomes is to post in the forum ! All the post are index and that brings traffic and the more traffic bring more people and more money for the google adds ! So it's not just about not being able to contribute because you can help in other ways and one being our forum !

So please people lets not just give up and do nothing lets work toward getting tigerhomes back on the road to recovery and once again having fun and posting in our forum with good and intertesting topics which in turn will bring more people and more interest and more revenue !!!

Ditto, ditto, ditto! And I for one will make a point of coming here at LEAST once a day to post something. I'm also working on some ideas, and one I need to clear with you, TD, so will shoot you a pm or email later. Also have started a fans of Tigerhomes page on myspace and a fanclub (more or less) on facebook (with the help of sue and haze), so if anyone's interested in the links, pm me and will send them as I know with security issues on the internet these days, a lot of people are refraining from clicking on links in any forums. I can assure you that mine are safe..lol. This is a work in progress and new content is being worked on when time permits. Also if anyone has pics they want to include or whatever, let me know about that as well. I know how some of you may feel about myspace or facebook, but the sites get millions and millions of hits every day and night, so this is just another way to help spread the word.

PS- Also, Cathy or dave, if you have any close up shots (not cam pics) of Loki or tundra, I would like to have one or two for my pages if at all possible and when you have time. I know Cathy is really busy, but maybe she could shoot me one or two if she has them, by email when she gets a sec or two....thanks!

Right first of all Ive just done my donation and im so sorry it was not for very much but its better than nothing right.
Dave first off would like to say thank you for finding the time to come on here and give us updates and also to give us that jolting reminder about not forgetting everything here and getting down and posting in the Forum which I will be doing as often as I can.
Cathy thank you so much for those pictures of how the sanctuary is looking lately it is so sad to see how things have changed already since the last time we had the opportunity to see them via the Cams and not sure if its me or with me not seeing the animals for such a long time but they are looking slightly thinner than I remember but hope its just the camera angles
One more thing I would like to mention all these last posts from the last two pages or so I have an idea that if posssible not sure who would do it but I feel that they should have there very own topic now and not all showing under the Hurricane Fay topic.
Well Angrod did say we must say what we feel so am doing just that

Hi everyone! There's so much I want to say and it's not possible to say it all right now, lol so I will start with I have missed everyone so much! Thank you Kathy for the beautiful pictures, there's nothing like looking at those to stir tucked away memories back to life. The animals look great and I pray the move will be an easy one for everyone.
I have tried to keep up with all thats being said here and I had forgotten my password, , but I talked with Kitty and had a memory refresher yesterday so thank you Kitty!
Times are tough for everyone right now and personally I can't donate money for awhile but I am willing to put every effort into bringing this forum back to life and trying to recruit loving, caring people here. I got down in a slump and felt like I was letting Dave and the animals down when I could not donate funds. I'm over that part now, lol and I realize that there are ways we can help Dave if we can't afford money. We can help by keeping this forum alive and kicking. I feel this forum was built with much love and compassion, a lot of effort has went into the educational values and experiences offered here. We all have something to contribute, be it articles, pictures, video or just chit chat. So what if we don't have the cams right now? Thats not a reason to let this place go, not to me anyway. The ones of us here right now, we KNOW what Dave will bring us when he can bring back the cams. It's WELL worth waiting for, right? I hope I'm not coming off to you as rude and crude, if I seem that way, I sure don't mean it like that. Hello Dear Friends I am smiling inside and out to see you guys putting together your show of support. I cannot tell you how much this means to know you are still there. Whoever said we cannot just keep posting in Dave's Hurricane Fay thread is 100% correct.
Please post your topics under the appropriate threads when you have time.

We have to get on with the wheels in motion and open up MORE relevant topics & threads for news, current events, science, discoveries etc. to begin to draw traffic to the website again. These threads are self-indexing and help a great deal. A news update regarding the progress of the Sanctuary move, donation updates and Cam status is underway.

Look at this forum as it is now - so many people contributed vital content that helped build & strengthen this website. Still, to this day, this activity generates both interest and income that helps Dave and helps feed the animals in care at TigerHomes. These contributions continue to give over and over becoming everlasting donations. You may write about a current event or contribute a photo collage, a movie, or an animal story. Hot topics right now spanning the press across the board include articles about "Greening our Planet", eco-friendly homes and businesses, saving habitat, and protecting animal species and any relative news in these areas are just a few ways we can contribute.

You cannot make a mistake, every idea is valid and has merit if it involves helping animals. We are all smart enough and have big enough hearts that we can figure out a way to keep the ball moving while Dave moves the Sanctuary.

Please stay tuned & stay connected - together we are TigerHomes and we have some pretty BIG CATS waiting in the wings watching to see if us humans will step up to the plate for them.

I am at a loss for words I really hate your situation I just don't know what to do to make people want to help alot of people are struggling with the economy the way it is I will send again at the beginning of the month I am so happy we still have our few people here at TH getting active in trying to get the word out I know we are all worried about you and all the animals if you have an idea for us to help just say the word we are there for you

First we need to send out e-mails to all the members that use to post in our forum and ask for help and for them to get back being active which would help a great deal !!!

Look we can and will make this all work we still have the desire to turn things around if we all work together !!!

I made a trip to Gainesville last fri. and meet Cathy there and she spent time taking more pictures on the progress that has been made the last couple of months for you all to see ! So soon she will have them posted in the forum so you guys all know this is a huge undertaking and take lots money and lots of hard work !!!

Beleave it or not i have been overwhelmed and with next to nothing in the way of funding it's still all coming together !!!

Do you guys think it's easy for me to still have the desire to care about animals and the mission we been on to educate our kids ?

And always remember i have no children but i still care about everyone elses kids and their future and the future of all the animals that call this planet their HOME !!!

Hold on we are not done just yet !!! hehe !!!
