Arrow Concern grows for missing cat
Cougar that fled rescue center 3 weeks ago has eluded trap, left food; new snow may show tracks

This is a very sad, and I'm hoping for the best outcome for this beautiful cat. She escaped from the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Indiana, and is only about 70 pounds -- so hopefully, if she wanders near people, they will call the authorities and let them capture her without harming her.

New trap set in attempt to catch cougar!

Quote:
TERRE HAUTE — A different kind of trap was set for a missing cougar Monday afternoon after fresh tracks were found over the past several days, said Joe Taft, owner of Exotic Feline Rescue Center.

That sounds like good news, they must think the cougar is still alive. Very Happy

Hey Keykey! Pretty cool & glad they're still trying to find her. Cool Can't image how stressed they must be over this. Thanks for the update. I wonder what the cougar has been eating? If those really are her tracks -- she must be hunting somewhat successfully (or scavenging?).

Fingers crossed.
