We all can make a difference

Ever since David and I decided to share the Sanctuary with the GLOBAL public via the Tiger Homes Animal Sanctuary web site, live video cameras and literally tons of educational information; we have been literally bombarded with thousands of positive e-mails from our visitors from all over the world. We have die-hard fans from Poland, Soviet Union, South America, Australia, Africa, Portugal and almost every other country you can point your finger at on a globe. Thousands of visitors that appear to live on our cams. Constantly sending us snap shots they have taken from the cams on a minute-by-minute basis, almost 24 hours a day. NEVER missing the opportunity to capture a single moment in the daily lives of our residents. It is awesome! Dave and I, along with our Web Master (Donnie) are planning on adding a viewer snap shot gallery and monthly photo contest to the sites long list of features in the near future. Our visitors have taken some truly spectacular pictures directly from the cams, and we would like to start sharing them.

Like I said above, we receive e-mails from all over the world telling us how much people enjoy watching the cams! How much the animals at the Sanctuary touch their hearts! What a wonderful job we do! What incredible hearts we must have to dedicate our lives to the care of these animals! How awesome it is that there are people like us trying to instill and teach the importance of Global Conservation to our kids! For actively getting involved in the fight to help endangered species. How much their kids love the cams! How teacher?s students learned so much while watching the cams in their classrooms! Thousands of e-mails ranting and raving about how incredibly large, naturalistic and enriching the habitats are! How healthy and happy all the animals look. I could go on and on and on forever!

David and I have dedicated our lives to helping the cause. A large portion of our time, money and resources go into trying to create happy lives both mentally and psychologically for our residents and creating awareness of the peril they face in the wild. We are hoping to build a brand new Sanctuary with even larger habitats, helping even more animals some day. However it has become increasingly difficult to continue at this pace much less expand. The expense of keeping the web site, data center and dedicated server is rather large. That expense added to the tremendous cost of the monthly care of the animals is extensive. David and I need as much help from the Internet community as possible.

Almost everyone who visits and interacts with the website has the desire to help in some way. If you find yourself wondering, ?What can I do to help?? Here are a few ways you can contribute to this worthy cause.

Remember, there are many ways to help the cause. Here are a few.

1) Tell everyone you know about the website. By increasing the number of visitors, we increase the awareness of the danger these wonderful creatures face.
2) If you have a website, link to us - http://www.tigerhomes.org/
3) Submit our site http://www.tigerhomes.org/ to any webcam sites you may visit.
4) Make a donation to the sanctuary. There is an area on the gift shop for those who want to contribute.
5) Purchase items from the gift shop. They make great gifts and are for a worthy cause.
6) Adopt a pet. It's a great way to virtually own one of the sanctuary animals.

Remember, our main mission is to spread an interest in saving wild animals and wild places but we can't do it alone.
