The BRAINS behind the technology

Over the last few years David and I have been flooded with positive feedback concerning the Sanctuary and its web site. People from all over the world, from school teachers to fellow zoological professionals, to kids have written us exclaiming how much they love and have learned from the website. How incredible the cams are! What beautiful habitats the animals are kept in! How healthy and happy and enriched all the residents look. I could literally go on and on and on detailing the positive feedback we have received and the fact that the residents of the Sanctuary have brought so much into the lives of our viewers. We both pinch ourselves everyday in disbelief that we are so fortunate not only to have the privilege of working with these animals on a daily basis, but also have such a great platform for sharing our interest in spreading the word of education and conservation to so many others.

It is for this reason that we both feel it is so important to not only thank, but to introduce you all to the person who made the website what it is today, and what it will be tomorrow! The degree of technology www.tigerhomes.org utilizes is absolutely beyond my words to describe. In-fact, much of the technology utilized has been created and custom written specifically for us either by or under the direction of our WEB MASTER Donnie Snyder.

Over the last few years Donnie has dedicated hundreds and hundreds of man-hours into the creation of the Tiger Homes Sanctuary Web Site. The degree of technical difficulty in its creation is absolutely mind-boggling. Donnie has always believed in David and I, and in our goals to instill an interest in protecting both wildlife and the remaining wild places. He has worked night and day and is truly the third Musketeer in our team. With out him none of this could be possible. The web site is constantly under revision, in both content, technology and appearance. This not only takes ALLOT of time, but also EXTREAM talent. Donnie is a true expert in the field and David and I both feel it is very important that our viewers realize that all this magic you see before you does not just happen by itself. There is an actual person behind every click of your mouse, behind every second of camera time, in every new page of educational information you read ect, and his name is, Reggie Hammond! Just kidding, had to say that! His Name is really Donnie ?The Master?, and he is the force behind the technology!

Donnie is now undertaking another major Sanctuary project. Over the next month or so Donnie will be working on giving the Sanctuary?s web site a TOTALLY NEW LOOK!!! He is going to again work his magic and redesign the sites appearance and navigation.

David and I both want to thank Donnie for all of his time, talents and for sharing our passion for education, he is truly a MAJOR part of our team! Remember as you are watching and learning, that if it were not for the talents, time and dedication of the Team Members, none of this could happen!

Remember, there are many ways to help the cause. Here are a few.

1) Tell everyone you know about the website. By increasing the number of visitors, we increase the awareness of the danger these wonderful creatures face.
2) If you have a website, link to us - http://www.tigerhomes.org/
3) Submit our site http://www.tigerhomes.org/ to any webcam sites you may visit.
4) Make a donation to the sanctuary. There is an area on the gift shop for those who want to contribute.
5) Purchase items from the gift shop. They make great gifts and are for a worthy cause.
6) Adopt a pet. It's a great way to virtually own one of the sanctuary animals.

Remember, our main mission is to spread an interest in saving wild animals and wild places but we can't do it alone.
