In reality the Komodo Dragon is the Worlds Heaviest Lizard reaching a length of 10’ 2” and a weight of almost 400 pounds, while the Crocodile Monitor Lizard has been recorded at almost 15 feet in total length. Crocodile Monitors are arboreal so they do not obtain the massive weight of the Komodo Dragon, which is primarily a Terrestrial Lizard. In fact, two thirds of the total length of the Croc Monitor is composed of their massive tail.
